I am an architect and interior designer based in China, where I founded a design firm called ELI Design. Out of personal interest, I enjoy building architectural models of master architects' works in my spare time. Since 2019, I have produced a large number of professional architectural models for various design schools to be used as teaching aids. Later, I also designed and developed many miniature model toys. In 2026, I established my own model brand — UNMAR (游玛).

The reason I adopted unmarked instructions is that, during the process of assembling toys with my son, I found it complicated and frustrating to search for parts by their labels—like A1, A2, B2, C4, and so on. I thought to myself, why can't we just follow the shapes instead? If I can find a part directly by its shape as shown in the instructions, why go through the hassle of looking it up by those numbered labels? So I started experimenting with designing some unmarked wooden toys. In 2026, I registered the trademark for UNMAR and set up a factory—and that's how UNMAR began.

我是一位建筑与室内设计师，在中国开设了一间设计公司，叫伊莱设计，因个人兴趣爱好，空闲时我总喜欢制作一些建筑大师的建筑作品模型，2019年开始，我制作了大量的专业的建筑模型供应给各大设计学院作为教学用途，之后又设计开发了很多小模型玩具，2026年创办了模型品牌游玛（UNMAR）。

• 我发现把模型拼装说明书上的零件标记如A1,C6.E3等去除，仅根据说明书上的图形就能顺利找到零件并且成功组合上，这个过程会感觉到相当有趣，因为免除了在按标记找零件的烦躁过程。
• 如果说明书的设计能尽可能的去掉零件标记，我认为这是个相当有创意的行动。
• unmarked就是无标记的意思，我管它叫UNMAR，并为它注册了商标和建立了工厂。希望大家喜欢我们的产品。
